Architects discussed Role of Statutory approvals in the city
A seminar on “Role of Statutory approvals in the city” was organized by The Indian institutes of architects and Patiala Architects Association associations at hotel Clarion inn.
Sanjeev Sharma (Mayor Patiala) was the chief guest of the event and Ankur Mohindroo (Joint Commissioner ) was the guest of honour.
There was a panel discussion having panelists as Sanjeev Sharma, Ankur Mahendroo, Ar. Surinder bahga from Chandigarh, Ar. Sanjay Goel from Ludhiana, Ar. Mandeep Kaur STP Patiala and Rajinder Kumar, DTP Patiala.
Various points were discussed at large about the development of Patiala city by the eminent panelists. Ar. P.S. Ahluwalia asked the questions on behalf of all the architects from the panelist.
Ar. Rajinder Sandhu, Hon. Treasurer IIA Punjab asked the mayor to fix the levels of the steets with respect to the mean sea level for proper planning of the storm water disposal in the city.
Ar. L.R. Gupta emphasized the importance of making the villages smart instead of making the smart cities.
Ar. Indu Arora and Ar. Amandeep singh announced the winners of the students competition held during the event.
