An encouraging seminar was organized at Bhai Gurdas Institute of Management & Technology, Sangrur. The keynote speaker Arpit Narula, HR & Admin Head, Travelopod, Chandigarh, discussed the career ventures that the pupils can pursue after completion of their degrees. Chairman, Hakam Singh Jawandha, Director, Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha, Dean Academics Suvreet Kaur Jawandha, faculty members and all the students were present there.
In the seminar, Arpit Narula defined Education as the fourth necessity of human’s life and a key to make one’s career bright. He motivated the students to stay focused and loyal to their education as it acts as the building block. Without education and knowledge, nothing could be achieved and it is the only asset that a person holds which can never be stolen or gets weaken.
Secondly, he inspired the students to follow their hearts and not what the others say. He laid emphasis on the concept of “Do Not Follow, Be yourself”. One should not bother upon others advice and go with what their mind and soul asks them to. Chairman Hakam Singh Jawandha congratulated all the students who got placement at various organizations and companies and motivated the young blood to participate more in the placement sessions. Director Dr. Guninderjit Singh Jawandha addressed the audience and advised them to accept change and utilize it efficiently and move ahead in their career and life.
Lastly, he advised them not to ever quit in life. Everyone must try whatever comes their way at first, and try harder to make the situations favorable. He intelligently answered all the queries of the learners and surely, they will reap sweet fruits from this conversation. Moreover, he added various activities to the talk where students participated in full zeal and enthusiasm. After the session, pupils were quite motivated and a ray of optimism was observed among them.
