Jatinder Singh Sidhu has been elected as new Director Education of SGPC. An interview was conducted at Panth Ratan Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra Institute of Advanced Studies in Sikhism at Bahadurgarh where Dr. Jatinder Singh  Sidhu, Director Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib was selected Director Education, SGPC.

58-year-old Dr. Jatinder Singh was serving as Director-Principal Mata Gujri College at Fatehgarh Sahib since 2009. He assumed his charge today in the presence of SGPC President Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar.

On this occasion, Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha who was working as officiating Director was given formal farewell. Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar presented a robe of honour (siropa) to Dr. Jatinder Singh and Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha.

On the occasion Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar said, to improve the orking of educational institutions run by Shiromani Gurudwara Prabhandhak Committee (SGPC) and to streamline in the working of Directorate of Education, Director plays an important role. As the post of Director was lying vacant, since long so it’s important to recruit regular a Director, to run it’s functioning smoothly. He hoped that the objectives and aims will be fulfilled which have been in mind while establishing Directorate. He also lauded serviced rendered by Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha.
