Regulatory Body to uplift the quality of education in Punjab

To raise the standard, quality and bring transparency in Technical education in Punjab and for the benefit of students and parents, regulatory body bill would soon be introduced in Punjab, disclosed by Technical Education Minister, Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi, while addressing over 500 students of over 25 Colleges who visited today in the Techno Cultural Fest of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh.

The function commenced with lamp lighting ceremony by the Minister and renowned Punjabi actor & comedian Binnu Dhillon & other guests.Dr.  M.S Ghughe, North West Regional Officer was the Guest of Honour on the occasion while Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the function.

Activities including Mime, Skit were the wholesome entertainer complete with songs and action which left the audience with meaningful messages. Students in traditional colorful Punjabi dresses presented several traditional Bhangra dance items with vigor, grace, and exuberance and made the audience tapped on their feet.

Western Instrumental Solo-1st -Mata gujri college , Fatehgarh Sahib; 2nd- Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura; Western vocal solo-1st –  Mata Gujri College , Fatehgarh Sahib,2nd – Baba Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Khalsa girls college, Morinda, 3rd- Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura; Western Group song 1st – Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib,2nd- Patel Memorial National College, Rajpura, 3rd- Baba zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Khalsa Girls College, Morinda. Poster Making- Ist- Zorawar Singh Fateh Singh Khalsa Girls College, Morinda, 2nd- University College, Chunni Kalan, 3rd- Kodiya college, Fatehgarh sahib.

A delegation of Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) including Mr. Amit Sharma, Senior Vice President; Gurfateh Singh, Vice President; Gurpreet Singh, General Secretary; Gurkirat Singh, Joint Secretary were also present on the occasion. Apart from others Harsimran Singh, Tehsildar, Rajpura; Sanjeev Kumar, PCS, SDM, Rajpura; Ravinder Singh Bassi, President, District Bar Association, Chandigarh; DSP, Harjinder Singh, Rajpura etc present were also honoured.
