The event organised by duo Pran Sabharwal-Sunita Sabharwal in cooperation with School Principal Dr. Narinder Kumar and Er. Amarjit  Singh Deputy DEO was dedicated to Jallianwala Baagh Memorial Centenary by the presidium including state’s prominent personalities like socialites Seth Mangat Rai Garg President Patiala’s Narain Dharamshala Haridwar (U.K.), art patron K.K. Juneja social worker, School’s Vice Principal Paramjit Kaur and NTAS president Gurbachan Singh Kakkar during chanting of Sanskarit Shalokas as a tribute to the martyrs.

Distributing cash awards to the artists K.K. Juneja spoke about the dire necessity of following  the messages of the sensitizing plays, Jatinder Brar’s “Sabz Baagh”-“Jago Voter Jago” and Ajmer Aulakh’s anti domestic violence “Sukki Kukh” both directed by Sabharwal duo. Juneja strongly condemned drug abuse. He exhorted audience to vote heavily in favour of genuine candidates. NTAS director Pran Sabharwal expressed anxiety why politics is silent on theatre art and culture issues.

Ntasians, honoured the dignitaries by presenting to them award of honour Memento, Shawl and bouquets. Sabharwal expressed gratitude to the dignitaries including school staff Indu Bala and Santosh Kumari for their cooperation. Sabharwal informed that earlier centenary theatre performances were given at Baradari Gardens under the patronage of philanthropist Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi head Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust and at Dhudhial Khalsa School with School’s Vice Chairman Harpal Singh Anand as the chief guest and Principal Dr. Parwinder Singh, who presided our the function. The artists who won applause include Pran Sabharwal, Sweety Rajput, Rajshri, Rajat Chauhan, Inderpreet Singh, Manjit Singh Manni (Folk Singer), Rahul,Deepak Pandey, Balwinder Singh and technicians Anmol Singh and Anshdeep Singh.
