10 Punjab jail inmates tested covid positive

10 inmates lodged in Central jail Bathinda tested covid positive. As per superintendent central jail Bathinda Manjit Singh “10 central jail inmates and one CRPF personnel, deputed as security staff tested positive. The CRPF Jawan was already in home quarantine, after recently he came back from holiday”
As per information all inmates are male members aged 24, 27,26,25,35,23,31,26,32,33,21 of age and were shifted to Ludhiana jail quarantine center to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic in jail.
