Today, 5 MLAs of aam admi party (AAP) has joined the ministry of Bhagwant Mann.

The newly inducted Punjab cabinet ministers are Aman Arora from Sunam, Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar (Amritsar South), Fauja Singh Sarari from Guruharsahai , Chetan Singh Joramajra from Samana, Anmol Gagn Mann from Kharar .

Today no minister has been taken from Doaba region. Majha region got one berth in today;s cabinet expansion. Malwa got the major share of four cabinet berths in today;s ministry expansion.

Aman Arora is around 47 years old and is a BA. He is a second time MLA. He won this assembly election with highest margin of more than 75000 votes.

Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar is around 66 years old and is a MD in Radio Diagnosis. He is current President of Chief Khalsa Diwan, a 117-year-old Sikh organisation, which is the central Organization of various Singh Sabhas spread across Punjab

Fauja Singh Sarari is around 61 years old is MA in Political science and is a social worker. He is a prominent leader from the Rai Sikh community, having hold in border districts of Ferozepur, Fazilka.

Chetan Singh Joramajra is around 55 years old and is 10+2. He serves as a president of Patiala district rural unit of the aam admi party. In March 2019, Chetan Singh was shot by unidentified assailants while he tried to prevent kidnapping a girl in Tarn Taran Sahib. He was shot near neck, and was admitted to a hospital in Amritsar.

Anmol Gagan Mann is around 31 years old and is 10+2 . She is a youth leader and before the Punjab Assembly election, she had even created a Kejriwal anthem.

With the induction of these five more ministers, the strength of the Mann-led cabinet reaches 15, including the chief minister.

The Aam Aadmi Party had made a blasting comeback in Punjab politics by bagging 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Vidhan Sabha during the state assembly polls.
