4th ODI between India-Australia may set new records

4th One Day International (ODI) cricket match, which started at mohali, where Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat in the fourth ODI against Australia is all set to create new records. Team India includes Virat Kohli (capt), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah and Team Australia includes Aaron Finch(capt), Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Ashton Turner, Alex Carey, Jhye Richardson, Pat Cummins, Jason Behrendorff, Adam Zampa.

India already lead the five-match series 2-1.

In today’s match Indian batsman Rohit Sharma may surpass former Indian cricket team captain  MS Dhoni’s record of hitting maximum sixes. Dhoni has a record of hitting 217 and Rohit is just 2 sixes away for making a record of hitting sixes by an Indian cricketer. Till date Rohit hits 216 sixes.

Also Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are just 73 runs away from making a record of crossing 1000 runs for first wicket partnership against Australia.

Rohit Sharma is just 52 runs away from 3000 runs in his ODI career . He will be ninth batsman to cross 3000 after Sachin Tendulkar, Dhoni,virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, saurav Ganguly, Mohammad Azzarudin, Varinder Sehwag
