23 Punjab Battalion NCC  organised a blood donation Camp at NCC Academy Ruppnagar in collaboration with Blood bank, civil hospital Rupnagar during its ongoing annual training camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Commanding Officer Shashi Bhushan Rana. During the camp, 2 NCC members including Col. Shashi Bhushan Rana, Col. LK Agarwal, Honourary Lieutenant Subedar Major Mukesh Kumar (Sena medal) were present.

Officers,  PI staff and NCC  cadets donated 58 units of blood during the camp.

Addressing the cadets  Col. Shashi Bhushan Rana highlighted the importance of blood donation  and said that NCC adets have always played a leading role in donating blood. Similarly Colonel LK Agarwal while praising the blood donors said that their contribution towards social service was inspiring for the society .He also himself  donated blood.

All the blood donors in this camp took an oath to donate blood and pledged to take this work further. Dr. Harleen Kaur (BTO),. Sunita Devi (S / N), Manjit Kaur (Counsellor), Lab Technicians Amandeep Kaur, Amandeep Singh and Vishal.were also present on the occasion.
