Ashwani Chopra resident editor of Punjab Kesari Delhi passes away

Ashwani Chopra, grandson of Lala Jagat Narain, founder of Punjab Kesari group of Publications and son of Romesh Chander passed away at a private hospital in Gurgaon on Saturday after a prolonged illness. Chopra leaves behind his mother Sudershan Chopra,wife Kiran Chopra and three children-Aditya Chopra,Arjun Chopra, Akash Chopra.

63 year old Ashwani Chopra was suffering from ‘terminal cancer’ and had been admitted to the Medanta Hospital about three weeks ago. He passed away in the afternoon, sources said.

The media baron Ashwani Chopra resident editor of Punjab Kesari Delhi passes away,was also remained Member of Parliament from Karnal, Haryana, in 2014. He was the editor of Punjab Kesari, Delhi.

Cremation of Ashwani Chopra will take place on Sunday 19, January, 2020 at 10: 00 am at Nigambodh Ghat, New Delhi.
