Auditions for NTAS annual Theatre workshop on 26 May
Patiala– The National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS) Patiala in association with Punjab Sangeet Natak Akademi Chandigarh has planned to organise their one month Annual Birji Theatre Training and Personality Development Workshop auditions at Bhasha Bhawan Patiala for the youth of 13 years of age or above.
The auditions for the selection of participants will be held on Saturday 26th May 2018 at 10:00 AM at Bhasha Bhawan, Sheranwala Gate, Patiala. The workshop which is being conducted by NTAS’ director Pran Sabharwal, fellow Theatre Television department Punjabi University Patiala and other experts will impart training in speech and self projection, acting and movement, basic sense of rhythm, group improvisation and personality development.
Each participant will receive a merit certificate, besides the special award to the outstanding trainees. Principals of the Educational institutes are requested to send enthusiasts for election. The decision was announced at Bir Dasondhi Ram’s 119th Birth Anniversary celebrations in the presence of Bir Ji’s son Om Parkash Kapur Bir Ji, Genl. Secretary S.D. Kumar Sabha, its president Balkrishan Singla, Bir Foundation Chairman Harish Sahni, said Shyam Lal Navhug, Chairman NTAS.
