Baba Farid School won overall Zonal Athletics Trophy

Students of Baba Farid Sen. Sec. School (BFSSS) well performed in Zonal level athletics competitions organized by PSEB Mohali at Sports Stadium Bathinda and brought laurels to the School by wining top positions. Under Bathinda Zone-2, the students of different schools were participated in different athletic competitions of this zonal level athletic meet. The students of BFSSS also participated in these athletics competitions with huge enthusiasm and bagged overall trophy and total no. of 33 medals. Students took part in different athletic competitions like Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Hammer Throw, Pole Vault, High Jump, Triple Jump, Long Jump, Hurdle Race and 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m races & 5000m fast walk race and won 9 Gold, 11 Silver & 13 Bronze medals.
Principal of School, Baljinder Singh Sidhu congratulated the students and motivated them to take part in such activities.
Chairman of BFGI, Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal congratulated winning students, principal and staff of BFSSS on this success in athletics and motivated the students to win upcoming competitions.
