Balwinder Singh Lakha joins as GHTP Lehra Mohabbat as Chief Engineer

Er. Balwinder Singh Lakha today joined as Chief Engineer at Sri Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant, Lehra Mohabbat  on Wednesday.  Lakha has served at various positions during his 33 years of service.

The newly appointed Chief Engineer was born in the house of Kishan Singh Lakha on 10 June 1962 at Dasuha village of Hoshiarpur district. He completed his engineering from Punjab Engineering College (PEC) Chandigarh in 1986 as AE.

His first joining was at Shri Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant Bathinda in 1987.As remain posted as different positions in different parts of the state. Earlier also Lakha has served as Chief Engineer in Ludhiana.

Balwinder Singh Lakha joins as GHTP Lehra Mohabbat as Chief Engineer.After taking over the post of Chief Engineer Balwinder Singh Lakha appealed to the people of Punjab and the country to cooperate with the government and the district administration to eliminate the outbreak of Corona virus during the current period by remaining inside their homes. To contribute in the fight  Lakha also appealed to the employees and officers to do their duty with utmost care and they should also look after their health minutely. He said that we all should serve honestly and diligently. He instructed the officers and employees working under them to act on the orders of the department immediately whenever they receive orders to operate the thermal plants. Among others who were present during the joining of the new Chief Engineer were PRO Gopal Sharma and others.
