Bank of India distributed dry ration to All India Pingla Ashram Patiala

Fulfilling its commitment to society and being true to its slogan of Relationship BEYOND BANKING Bank of India, Patiala Branch, Ludhiana Zone under NBG North-1 has today carried out distribution of dry ration to needy and mentally retarded 200 people residing at All India Pingla Ashram, Patiala under bank Corporate Social Responsibility.
The ration were donated for the welfare of handicapped, crippled, infirm, orphans and helpless persons of Pingla ashram, Patiala. They tend to cater 200 patients and 50 helpers daily. Due to prevalent lockdown announced by GOI to fight covid19, the Pingla Ashram is feeling crunch to feed these needy persons
CHIEF Manager, Patiala branch R.P Singh said that the decision was taken by Salil Kumar Swain General Manager NBG North-1 New Delhi and Zonal Manager Kuldeep Zindal, Deputy Zonal Manager R.C. Sharma both from Ludhiana Zone , considering the problems being faced in the current scenario. Harish Khurana, PRO, NBG North-1, has been the backbone of the entire activity and played a pivotal role by leading our ways to successfully executing the whole operation in this tough phase.
