Bararai ground is an open jail; won’t go for conditional meeting-Farmers union

Farmers, who are agitating at the Delhi border has declined to, go for talks with union minister on December 1, 2020.
In a press conference convened by the farmers group informed that “the union government has invited us for a meeting, with a condition that we, the farmer’s first shift to Barari ground and then came for a meeting. We jointly rejected the meeting call and now we will not lift the dharna.”
In an another announcement, the farmers declared that they will put up their dharna on all five entry points to Delhi- from Sonepat side, from Jaipur side, from Mathura-Agra side, from Bahadurgarh side, from Ghaziabad side.
Farmer leaders has also decided to “not to allow any political leader –be it from congress, BJP, shiromani akali dal, aam admi party or any other party with political background, to address from their stage. All other NGO’s, unions, associations who want to support the farmers agitations are allowed” .
On shifting to Barari ground farmer leaders out rightly rejected the offer and said that” Barari ground is not a ground but an open jail. Farmers under the command of a leader from Uttrakhand arrived in Delhi to support the farmer agitation, was taken by Delhi police to Barari ground, on the pretext of taking them to Ram Leela ground and shifted to an open jail-Barai ground. So we won’t shift to Barari ground, as the government wants to put farmers under arrest.”
The farmer union has also made a committee, who will issue official press statement and bytes to coordinate with the media and the government, to avoid any unnecessary confusion.
When asked about their demands, farmer union leaders said “ foremost demand is to cancel the three newly introduced agriculture bills, to not to bring the electricity act 2020, to cancel the clause of 1 cr fine with 5 years jail on stubble burning, MSP guarantee, purchase guarantee.”
On the tweet of Kangana Ranaut that “the farmers brought ladies on a Rs 100/- daily , farmers condemned her for giving such an illogical statement.”
