BBMB transfers-Bhakra Dam gets new chief engineer

Chairman, Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has issued an office orders giving the additional charge of chief engineer Bhakra Dam, BBMB, Nangal to Er Charanpreet Singh, after the retirement of Er Kamaljit Singh.
Er. Charanpreet Singh, a 1999 batch officer, promoted as chief engineer and posted at BBMB Nangal. He did his B.Tech from NIT Jalandhar with gold medal. He did his ME in structure engineer with gold medal from Thapar University. He got second rank in the PPSC merit list and joined the department in 1999. He has served in BBMB at various key positions-dam safety, instrumentation of dam, technical solutions to hydro-structures. He has been awarded twice with Chairman Medal for an excellent services in BBMB. He is a member of the board of studies for NIT and a visiting lecturer for NPTI,Nangal. He is going to retire on June 30, 2031
