Budha Dal Public School Witness Theatre Fizz

All the world’s a stage & most of us are unrehearsed.

‘Teatro Evening’ was hosted at Budha Dal Public School, Patiala on 13 November 2017 giving pupils an opportunity to perform on stage & thus fostering confidence with all the benefits of self assurance and enhancing self esteem.

The students presented their skill in the English & Punjabi play.

The English Play “The Canterville Ghost” is a novel by Oscar Wilde. It is the first of Wilde’s stories to be published appearing in two parts in the “Court & Society Review”. The story is about a family who moves in a castle haunted by the ghost of a dead nobleman, who killed his wife and was starved to death by his wife’s brothers.

The Punjabi play based on the teaching of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in contemporary times was heart rendering.

The scintillating bhangra added the splendor to the event and regaled those present.

On this special evening, 357 students who excelled in academic and sports were honoured.

Present on the evening were a galaxy of eminent people which included the Chief Patron of the school Jathedar Baba Balbir Singh Ji accompanied by President of the schools managing committee Sukhvinderjit Kaur, Admin Officer – Parminderjit Kaur Brar, Karan Rajbir Singh Director Education & Advisor to Budha Dal Public Schools, Principal- Dr.(Mrs.) Amrit Aujla & Principals of various Sahodaya schools.

A.S. Rai, IPS (IGP, Patiala Zone) was the Chief Guest at Budha Dal Public School Theater Fizz.

On the whole, the day rolled out an exciting medley of events that called the students to express their skills, talent, wit and capabilities on a common platform.
