Capt Amarinder loyalist MLAs joins BJP; cricketer too joins BJP

In a sudden move Capt Amarinder Singh loyalist Congress MLAs Fatehjang Singh Bajwa from Qadian and Balwinder Singh Laddi MLA from sri Hargobindpur joins BJP at Delhi.
Along with them cricketer Dinesh Mongia also joins BJP at its head office. Mongia in the first Indian cricketer to play a T20 match.He played for Lancashire in 2004.
“On why Capt Amarinder loyalist MLAs joins BJP; cricketer too joins BJP as both were sitting MLAs. As per a political analysist “they were likely to be denied party tickets, so that’s why they might have shifted their party. At a recent rally, Congress’s Punjab president Navjot Singh Sidhu had even declared Fateh Bajwa as a party candidate. However, soon after that pronouncement, Pratap Bajwa made it clear to his party that he is also interested in the same seat. Anticipating that he would lose the race to his brother, Fateh Jung Bajwa opted for a pre-emptive move.”
