Central University of Punjab Bathinda celebrated 74th Independence Day

The Central University of Punjab celebrated the 74th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2020 in its main campus at Village Ghudda, District Bathinda with great deal of patriotic zeal, enthusiasm, fervour and gaiety. During this programme, Flag-Hoisting Ceremony was organised by University under the guidelines of Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.K. Kohli. Prof. P. Ramarao, Retd. Professor & Former Dean Academic Affairs, CUPB, was the special guest of this programme.

At the start of the programme, Vice-Chancellor Prof. R.K. Kohli hoisted the National Flag. After this, the University Flag was hoisted in the main campus by Prof. Ramarao, along with Prof. V.K. Garg, Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Wusurika, Dean Incharge Academic Affairs,  KPS Mundra, Registrar, & other employees. The Flag Hoisting Ceremony was followed with singing of National Anthem & University Anthem.

Central University of Punjab Bathinda celebrated 74th Independence Day

On this occasion, University’s Security Team conferred guard of honour to the CUPB Vice-Chancellor. After the Flag Hoisting Ceremony and Inspection of Parade, the Vice-Chancellor communicated Independence Day Greetings to all.

CUPB Faculty and staff members attended this event by strictly following the norms of social-distancing norms and other preventive guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
