Chandumajra to PM- judicially probe operation Bluestar; unveil the truth

Senior Shiromani akali dal leader Prem Singh Chandumajra is a leader, who knows how to remain in news, in limelight, how to encash a situation, how to get political mileage.
On the 37th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, shiromani akali dal ex member parliament from Sri Anandpur Sahib and its core committee member Prem Singh Chandumajra wrote a letter to the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi and demanded a “highest level judicial probe comprising at least three sitting or retired judges of the Supreme Court to unveil the truth behind the most abominable Operation Bluestar, the army attack on the Darbar sahib (Golden Temple) , the most revered shrine of the Sikhs ,in June 1984.”
He further wrote in the letter,” the attack was designed to humiliate the Sikhs, the people who had made the maximum contribution for the freedom of India and that are part of the record, not just a claim. This most dynamic community in India that had provided food sovereignty to the food-deficit country was declared anti-national by the then congress rulers under a conspiracy.”
He demanded that “the truth must prevail. The guilty must be brought to book. The truth can prevail only if highest level probe is ordered by your government along with release of the entire record relating to this ghastly action in which hundreds of innocent men, women and children were also killed” added Chandumajra
A political analysist said,” the ex-member parliament Prem Singh Chandumjara demand to judicial probe on the anniversary is a political tact. If is so sincere about the judicial probe, why he didn’t it raise the issue earlier. Why he is demanding it after 37 years? He was a Member of Parliament in 11th, 12th and 16th Lok Sabha. He remained MP when the relations between SAD-BJP were cordial. Why didn’t he raise the issue at that time?
