Corona updates; micro containment zones reaches 14 in Patiala

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 95ย new cases and 6 deaths were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 159ย cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 90 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 5065 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 6692 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 1448.
Corona updates; micro containment zones reaches 14 in Patiala Out of these 95 cases,44 reported from Patiala, 11 from Rajpura,10 from nabha , 4 from Samana and rest 26 from different villages of the district. Today 5 deaths were reported in Patiala. These include ย 12 positive cases ย were found in contact tracing and 83 from flu and non-flu patients in the Containment Zone and OPD.
5 more deaths were reported in local Patiala . 2 more micro containment zones were declared in Patiala district- one in Ghuman Nagar block A and Nabhaโs Tuli wali gali, Kartarpura.
In Patiala, five cases from Charan Bagh, three each from Shaheed Udham Singh Nagar and Sahib Chand Office Street, two each from Green View, Shri Chand Marg, Ranjit Nagar, Central Jail, Model Town, Upkar Nagar, Punjabi Bagh, Upkar Nagar. One each from Bhakra Colony, Sukh Enclave, North Avenue, Majithia Enclave, Sardar Patel Enclave, Jatanwala Chontra, Sevak Colony, Adarsh โโNagar, Sundar Nagar etc.Three from Nabha Development Colony, two from Bant Ram Colony, one each from New Patel Nagar, Sangatpura Mohalla, Ajit Nagar, Baba Sahib Singh Nagar, Durga Temple near Rajpura, Two from Old Rajpura Rajpura Town, New Dashmesh Colony, one each from nearby NTC School, Dev Colony etc., one each from Agarsain Colony of Samana, Guru Ram Das Nagar, Varach Colony etc. and 34 positive cases have been reported from different villages. The figure include a pregnant woman and two police personnel.
As per civil surgeon Patiala, today 5 deaths are reported in Patiala-a 45 years old resident of Bartan Bazar, ย a 65 years old resident of Ahluwalia street, a 65 yaers old resident of Guru Nanak Nagar, a 70 years old resident of Maharaja Yadwindra enclave and a 80 years old resident of Basant Vihar, Sirhind road, Patiala. With these deaths, total number of deaths reaches to 179 in Patiala.
