As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 84 new cases were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 65 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 50 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 871 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 1588 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 691

Covid 19 update; another bad day for Patiala.Out of these 84 cases, 38 reported from Patiala, 6 from Rajpura, 14 from nabha , 2 from Samana, and 18 from different villages of the district. In Patiala maximum cases were detected in contact tracing, 2 interstate travelers and 44 cases have flu type symptoms.

In Patiala, three from Urban Estate, Gobind Nagar, Jattan Wala Chontra, SST Nagar, Ekta Nagar, Two each from Model Town Phase-1, Azad Nagar, Officer Colony, Adarsh ​​Nagar, Chhatta Nanuwala, Tej Bagh Colony, DLF Colony, Nirbhay Colony, Yellow Road, Anand Nagar-B, Green Park Colony, Ratan Nagar, Professor Colony, Pratap Nagar, Upkar Nagar, Factory Area, Rajbaha Road, Shish Mahal Colony, Bharat Colony, Cheema Colony, One Covid Positive Case has been reported from Khalsa Mohalla, Dukh Niwaran Sahib Colony, Model Town Backside ITI, Urban Estate Phase-2, Ajit Nagar, Columbia Asia etc.

In Rajpura, cases came from Dalima Vihar of Rajpura, Mahindra Ganj, Pach Ranga Chowk, Ward No. 20, Gobind Colony,one case from each locality.Three from Nabha to Ghumiar Mohalla, two from Modi Mill Colony, Jaspal Colony, Pandusar Mohalla, Hira Mahal, Haridas Colony, Hira Enclave, one from Telianwali Gali, two from Samana’s Krishna Basti, Patran Ward No. 5,6, 8,11 and one each from Durga Mandir, one from Rupraye Nagar of Sanor and 18 positive cases have been reported from different villages.

The cases include four health workers and a pregnant woman.

Dr Malhotra  said that the employees of State Bank of India at Qila Chowk and H.D.F.C. where most of the staff at the bank branch have been positive,to prevent the growth, he appealed to the customers who have visited here in the last few days to report any covid symptoms to the nearest health center at their level so that their covid can be checked for the spread of the disease.
