Covid 19 update; corona cases flare up in Patiala

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 84 new cases were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 47 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 53 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 735 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 1397 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 642.
Out of these 84 cases, 44 reported from Patiala, 15 from Rajpura, 9 from nabha and rest from Samana, Patran and different villages of the district. In Patiala many cases were detected in contact tracing.
3 micro containment areas were declared in Rajpura- Durga Mandir, arya Samaj and Guru Nanak colony area. 1 micro containment is made in bahadurgarh, after caes were reported from Hargobind colony. After testing 15 positive cases from leading auto dealer of Nabha-Hira Automobile workshop has been closed, till further orders.
Five from Gurunanak Nagar, Patiala, four from Nihal Bagh, Arya Samaj, Military Cantt, two each from nearby Atma Ram Kumar Sabha School and Adarsh Colony, Gurbakhsh Colony, Ragho Majra, Darshan Nagar, Military Hospital, Urban Estate One, Artillery Turn. , Markel Colony, Samanian Gate, Safabadi Gate, Preet Nagar, Ghuman Nagar, New Officer Colony, Street No. 10 Tripuri, Abchal Nagar, One covid positive case has been reported from SST. Nagar, Mathura Colony, B. Tank, Jatta Wala Chontra, Patiala, Jyoti Enclave.
Five from Durga Temple near Rajpura, four from Arya Samaj Temple nearby, two each from Dalima Vihar and Bharat Colony, one each from Pacharanga Chowk, Kanika Garden and Bhatta Lachhman Das, two from Nabha Sharda Colony, Hira Mahal, Pandusaran. Mohalla, Modi Mill Colony, New Patel Nagar, Bhikhi Mor, one each from Bodan Gate, two from Gobind Nagar of Samana, one each from Peer Gori Mohalla and GC Park Factory, two from Patran Ward No. 11 and two From No. 8 one and 15 positive cases have been reported from different villages.
