Covid 19 update; institutions plays major role in rising cases in Patiala ; SBI branch sealed

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 65 new cases were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 42 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 49 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 821 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 1504 with todays new cases.
Covid 19 update; institutions plays major role in rising cases in Patiala.Out of these 65 cases, 49 reported from Patiala, 4 from Rajpura, 4 from nabha , 1 each from Samana, and 7 from different villages of the district. In Patiala 29 cases were detected in contact tracing, 4 interstate travelers and 32 cases have flu type symptoms.
As per civil surgeon Patiala, Dr harish malhotra, institutions, offices are playing major roles in increasing the cases, as they don’t follow the Covid SOP’s or take proper precautions. Today 11 staff members of SBI Fort (Qila chowk) branch tested covid positive.
In Patiala 5 cases reported from Upkar Nagar, Arora Street, New Police Line, SST Nagar, Dhillon Colony, Achar Bazar, Ragho Majra, Preet Galli to Do-Do, Morawali Galli, Ratan Nagar, Gol Gappa Chowk, New Meher Singh Colony, Deep Nagar, Arya Samaj, Pasiana Town, Rose Garden, Amar Hospital, Dashmesh Nagar, Azad Nagar, Teg Colony, Ajuba Hotel, BN Bahera Road, Hira Nagar, Good Earth Colony, Guru Tegh Bahadur Colony, Vikas Colony, Urban Estate, Ekta Nagar, Mahindra Colony, Achar Bazar, Yadavindra Colony, Gurdeep Colony, Surinder Nagar, Adarsh Colony, Guru Nanak Nagar. One Covid Positive Case has been reported from Street No. 24 Tripuri, Patiala and Rajbaha Road.
Three cases have been reported from Dalima Vihar in Rajpura, one each from Ekta Colony, two each from Modi Mill Colony and District Jail in Nabha, one from Krishna Basti in Samana and 07 positive cases have been reported from different villages.They include two pregnant women, two policemen and a health worker.
