Covid 19 update; lesser cases than yesterday reported in Patiala

As per civil surgeon Patiala, today, 42 new cases were reported in Patiala district. Yesterday 84 cases were reported in Patiala district. Today 37 cured patients were discharged from covid care centres, hospitals in Patiala district and now total cured patients touched 772 mark. Positive cases in Patiala go up to 1439 with todays new cases and active cases goes to 645.

Covid 19 update; lesser cases then yesterday reported in Patiala.Out of these 42 cases, 24 reported from Patiala, 4 from Rajpura, 4 from nabha , 2 each from Patran ,Samana, and 6 from different villages of the district. In Patiala 16 cases were detected in contact tracing, 1 case is NRI and 25 cases have flu type symptoms.

Four from Patiala Military Cantt, three each from Dashmesh Nagar and Nihal Bagh, two from Nimwala Chowk, Raghomajra, Lahori Gate, Upkar Nagar, Cheema Bagh Colony, Deep Nagar, Bishan Nagar, Hira Bagh, Adarsh ​​Colony, Mahindra Complex, Namdhari One Covid Positive Case has been reported from Khan Road, Jyoti Enclave, A. Tank, Yadavindra Colony.

Rajpura’s Arya Samaj Road, Guru Arjan Dev Colony, SBS Colony, one each from nearby KK School, three from Hira Automobile from Nabha and one from Purana Mistry Khana, one from Samana’s Ghas Mohalla and one from Balmiki Mohalla. One by one and 06 positive cases have been reported from different villages from wards 4 and 6 of Patran.

He said that a 54 year old Covid positive resident of Anand Nagar, Patiala who was admitted to Rajindra Hospital due to hypertension and other ailments died at Rajindra Hospital yesterday while undergoing treatment.

Similarly, a 27-year-old Covid positive resident of Rajpura who was admitted to PGI Chandigarh due to heart and other serious ailments also died at the hospital while undergoing treatment. The death toll in the district has now risen to 22
