DAV hold PANORAMA 2018-Inter & Intra School Science Exhibition

Scientific temperaments were on high spirits at DAV Patiala as an Inter school science exhibition ‘Quest for Science 2018 was organized with Punjab Academy of Sciences (ISCA).363 participants from 29 CBSE schools participated and demonstrated their practical and experimental skills.
Chief guest Shaukat Ahmed (ADC), S. S Pahil, N.R. Dhamiwal, Dr. Paramveer Singh of ISCA and Principal Vivek Tiwari inaugurated the exhibition. Chief Guest motivated the participants and said that students who respect their teachers always reach the high horizon of success.
Students showcased their skills through various working and static models under the guidance of their mentors on E- Communication Devices, Plastic Waste Management, Explore Chemistry, Technology and Mankind, Science in Vedas. The competition was divided into senior and junior Categories. Inter school were adjudged by R R Sayal – Retd Pr. Modi College, Ravinder Singh Sodhi – Retd Pr. , Ankush Kansal and Mandeep Singh Thapar University whereas Ms. Gandhi (Our Lady Fatimah School ) and Amit ( DAV Nabha) were the judges of Intra School.
Principal Vivek Tiwari appreciated the efforts made by Science faculty and all the participants and said that the Science has become an essential part of life. As science of today is technology of tomorrow and events like this motivate the young talent and budding scientists who are the reservoir of knowledge and imagination to work and use their skills for human welfare.
Vote of Thanks was presented by Neera Khurana (HOD Science Dept) and the efforts of one and all to make this mega event a success were applauded.
