‘DAV MUN Conference – 2017 Concluded

Model United Nations – a Two Day Conference was organized in the premises of DAV Public School, Patiala. About 140 students and teachers from many CBSE & ICSE affiliated schools from Punjab & Panchkula acting as Delegates representing various Nations across the world enthusiastically participated and convincingly expressed their thoughts.

The delegates from various schools  were divided in three committees i.e. United Nations General Assembly- III, United Nation Security Council and All India Political Parties Members enrolled with the ample knowledge  ,they discussed about the global issues such as Situation in Korean Peninsula, promotion and protection of human rights with emphasis on Alternative approaches for improving their effectiveness and analyzing economic policy of India with emphasis on post effects of GST and Demonetization.

During the DAV MUN Conference 2017 three Councils – United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) chaired by Shubham Manchanda and Vice chaired by Saksham Munjal debated on question on the protection of human rights. All India Political Parties Members (AIPPM) where Devesh Gill acted as Speaker & Shaurya Bhardwaj as Deputy Speaker, discussed the burning topics of “Present situation of India after GST & Demonetization” United Nations Security Council (UNSC) where Amrit Khattri & Shivang Berry acted as President & Vice President assuringly discussed over “Situation in Korean Peninsula”.
