DC Barnala bans playing of vulgar songs in buses

Following complaints received from various quarters, the DC Barnala Tej Partap Singh Phoolka has banned the playing of vulgar and provocative music in the private buses along with state-run transport buses with immediate effect, till June 25, 2019.
DC Barnala Tej Partap Singh Phoolka in a order passed under the power endorsed to him said that any bus driver or conductor found violating the directive, within the Barnala jurisdiction,would have to face strict action under section 188.
Phoolka said the administration is committed to provide best transport services to people.”Frequent use of vulgar and loud music in the buses not only generates mental pollution, tension amongst the passengers but is also instrumental in fatal accidents which occur due to distraction of the drivers,” he said.
