Disruptive elements might disturb state peace; farmers should resolve issues with talks: BJP

Punjab BJP president Ashwani Sharma said today that farmers should take recourse to talks and discussions to resolve their issues and should avoid holding protest demonstrations.
In a statement Sharma said the Centre had already fixedย Dec.3 for the next round of talks with farmer leaders and he hoped that there would be a positive outcome after the talks.
He cautioned farmers that under the cover of their protest subversive and disruptive elements might indulge in disturbing peace in the state.
He said farmers should not allow themselves to be played in the hands of disruptive elements.
He welcomed the farmers’ decision to allow running of trains in Punjab and hoped that with dialogue they would help resolving all issues.
