Dr D S Bhullar elected President of Forensic Academy

Five doctors of the department of forensic medicine & toxicology of Government Medical College Rajindra Hospital this year have bagged all major executive body posts of Punjab Academy of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, a body of the forensic medicine and toxicology experts of the state. In the 15^th annual conference and meeting of the general house of the academy held at Adesh Institute of Medical Science & Research Bathinda, Dr DS Bhullar of the department was elected president of the academy unopposed for the second term.

The other forensic experts of the department include Dr Akashdeep Aggarwal as general secretary, Dr Didar Singh Walia as joint secretary, Dr Preetinder Singh Chahal and Dr Amit Singla as executive members. The faculty members also presented guest lecturers on child sexual abuse and recent updates in examination and reporting of medico legal cases during the conference.
