Dr Manuj uses new technique for Knee problem at Amritsar
Amritsar: The 2-day free orthopedic joints camp concluded at Ivy Hospital, Amritsar . As many as 400 people attended the camp.
A team from Ivy orthopedics department headed by Dr Manuj Wadhwa, chairman & executive director- Ivy Elite Institutes of Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement addressed the healthcare needs of people in camp.
During occasion, Dr. Manuj also operated upon 10 patients suffering from knee problem with the new technique, Fast in Fast Out (FIFO).
Talking about FIFO technique, he said that this new technique combines benefits of minimally invasive surgery, patient specific high performance implants with higher flexibility, modified pain control concepts and minimal bleeding even to suit our geriatric population.
