Engineer’s Day Celebrated at Rayat-Bahra Patiala Campus

Rayat-Bahra Patiala Campus students of B.Tech and M.Tech celebrated of Engineer’s Day dedicated to Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a wizard in Engineering. The best way to predict the future is to create it. It is only the engineering that converts the scientific knowledge into technology and then technology into successful innovations. Many seemingly aspects of our daily lives have been conceptualized, designed and developed by an Engineer. Engineering explore and invent new alternatives to better benefit the world where we live in.
The program started with Campus Director, Dr. Piush Verma’s address of a Welcome Note to all the budding engineers wishing them a bright future and a tribute to Sir Visvesvaraya by presenting slides of engineering concepts and strategies of all Engineering Branches.
Campus Director, Dr. Piush Verma who himself is an Engineer congratulated all the Engineering Students and welcomed them in a special way saying that the choice of selecting a career as an engineer is exemplary in itself because every kind of new innovation or technology is brought into the existence by the engineers. They are the face and builder of our nation. They shape and reshape the destiny of their country with new and admirable techniques and concepts, which might be in the field of Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Information Technology, Environmental, Chemical or Automobile.
Rayat-Bahra Group Management conveyed their Greetings to all the engineering students of Patiala Campus and Faculty Members of engineering departments and said that Engineers are the backbone of a nation’s progress and prosperity.
