Excellent Presentation in Spring Flower Show,Competition
Students of Environment Club of Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education, Dhamo Majra Patiala participated in ‘Spring Flower Show & Competition’ organised by Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala.
Ten different varieties of flowers & other ornamental plants grown in pots were displayed by the college. In the category of various Educational Institutions, Nurseries and Horticultural Department who participated in this competition, our college won two second prizes in this category.
One student, Parneet Kaur (B.Ed.-Ist Year) got Ist Prize in Cut Flower Competition Category. On this occasion, College Principal, Dr. Harmeet Kaur Anand congratulated the students and inspired them to come forward for environmental conservation. She also sensitized the students towards current environmental problems of the modern era and their role to mitigate the harmful effects prevailing in the environment.
