From generating power for Punjab TSPL supports Punjab’s unsung heroes too performing Covid-19 Duty

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), has been on the forefront to support the Police and District Administration, Mansa in their fight against COVID-19 pandemic. TSPL has provided hand gloves, protective masks, vehicles and other essentials to support the police personnel on COVID-19 duty. All the police check posts in the vicinity of the plant; primary health centre and neighboring villages are being regularly sanitized and fumigated.
Balwinder Singh, Station Head Officer Mansa said, “I would like to thank TSPL for their support to the police and public at large during this critical hour of need. Their care and concern towards police officers on duty, other essential service providers and healthcare workers has been exceptional. They have even helped police personnel with preventive health check-ups.”
TSPL is carrying our several initiatives to ensure the safety and well being of its employees, business partners, contractors and the communities. These include distribution of safety kits comprising masks, soaps and other essentials, disinfection and fumigation of public places, villages, voluntary contribution by employees for COVID-19 relief, ration distribution to hundreds of marginalized families who are worst hit due to the lockdown.
As hospitals are few and far between in this remote area, TSPL is supporting the Primary Health Centre (PHC), located in Behniwal village of Mansa with medical, paramedical staff and lab facility. TSPL has provided masks, gloves for the PHC staff and also sanitized the premises.

TSPL’sCOVID-19 relief measures have reached over 12,000 people and continue to pick up momentum.
