GHTP Lehra Mohabbat to plant 1000 trees-Chief Engineer
Lehra Mohabbat (Bathinda)-Er Lakhwinder Singh, Chief Engineer/O&M, Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant, Lehra Mohabbat formally inaugurated the plantation of 1000 tress in thermal plant premises under the Punjab Government mission “Tandrusat Punjab” by planting a tree.
On this occasion, Er. Lakhwinder Singh persuaded the employees for plantation of tress. He told that it is the duty of every person to plant and nurture a tree to provide a healthy atmosphere to our coming generations. Er. Lakhwinder Singh further intimated that Lehra Mohabbat Thermal plant has an area of more than 1000 acres out of which there is a green belt of 180 acres in which approximate 60000 tress are there. This green belt has different varieties of trees such as Tahli, Neem, Daek, Silteron, Arjan, Kikkar, jaman and Bottle palm. It is worthwhile to mention here that at Lehra Mohabbat thermal plant, extra sewage water is used for irrigation of this green belt. This green belt is helping to keep the atmosphere green and clean and is contributing to mission “Tandrusat Punjab”.
Er. Sukhwinder Kumar, Er. Mukesh Bansal, Er. Bharat Bhushan Pandhi, Er. D.P. Garg, Er. Ram Lal Garg, Er. Suresh Garg, Er. Navdeep Garg, Er. Darshan singh Bhullar and Bharat Bhushan Prashar were also present on this occasion.
