Guru Nanak Dev ji’s birthday was celebrated with great zeal and religious fervor on the campus of Scholar Fields Public School on 3rd Nov. 2017. The School wore a divine look on the occasion. A hearty welcome was accorded to the honorable members of management with synchronized performance of pipe band. The celebration commenced with eulogizing the Nirankar in the form of Shabad Gayan in resplendent and colourful traditional attire the entire show stole the hearts of spectators and filled them appreciation.
The main events were Poetry recitation, Kavishri, fancy dress and modeling all bringing out the essence of Khalsa Panth. There was a special performance of “Gatka” by the school students. With their slick, quick moves and deft handling of the gear the debonair performers enthralled spectators and filled them with great enthusiasm.
The whole School reverberated with the sounds of applause. Students felt elated while speaking on the philosophical topics such as Brahm Gyan and earned good praise from all alike. As a part of the programme various competitions were also held like Turban and Dumala tying, modeling and Shabad gyan in which the winners walked away with the prizes.
