Guru Nanak Foundation warmly welcomes its I’ntl player

Patiala-Sanya, an international player was welcomed by Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, management, staff, students after her return from New Castle, England. It was the day of celebrations and jubilation as a ceremony was held to honor Miss Sanya Gold Medal Winner in fencing in Common Wealth Championship  2018.

She was given a warm reception at the school gate with the school band followed by a small function in the school campus. The school director Partap Singh, execution member Ravi Bhushan, The school principal  Renu Hanspal, Sardar K.P. Singh,  Suninder Singh, Harpreet Singh (Distt. Sports Officer), Balbir Singh (Football Coach), Raj Kumar, Jasbir Singh and Ahuluwalia were there to grace the occasion.

Sanya’s Parents Deepak Kumar Adlakha, Hema Rani, her Coach Mohit Ashwani were also present as the distinguished guests. School Director Partap Singh congratulated her and announced free higher education to her. She has also been conferred with an honor of ‘Panth Rattan Sardar Inderjit Singh Trophy’ to be handed over to her on the school Annual Day. He also addressed and motivated the students to participate in sports events. Valuable words were also shared by Ravi Bhushan, Harpreet Singh, Principal and her parents. Sanya also used the platform to thank her parents, NIS coaches, Principal and her teachers for this glorious achievement.

In the end a vote of thanks was proposed by Surinderpal Kaur the school Coordinator.
