Incident of Police taking bribe at Khanori border will be sent to the DGP Punjab –Capt Amrinder Singh

Punjab Chief Minister captain Amrinder Singh today assured Barnala resident of marking the alleged incidence of police taking bribe at the Khanauri border to DGP Punjab during Facebook live session #AskCaptain held today. Responding to a query from Barnala residence Mandip Singh Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that the matter is being sent to DGP Punjab who will look into it.

Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that at present there were 9442 coronavirus positive cases in the states while 239 people have died of it. He added that the active cases as of present were 2830 while 6373 patients have already recovered from the infection and gone back home.

He added that Barnala district is included in the list of those districts that have reported least number of coronavirus positive cases in the past one week. He added that Tarn Taran, Barnala and Mansa have registered the least number of cases.

Chief Minister said that Deputy Commissioners will distribute 10 lakh cloth made masks in the state which would be given free of cost to the needy. He called upon  people of Punjab to wear mask at everywhere they go and ensure that they do not assemble in the form of congregation. Besides this he also called upon people to maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet and wash their hands repeatedly.
