India started its Tokyo Olympics journey on a winning note by sensationally winning its first men’s hockey match against New Zealand by 3-2, in a in a Pool A group
Match’s first goal was made by New-Zealand. Later India equaled it and take 2-1 lead by second break.
New Zealand had a chance to make it 3-3 , just 24 seconds before the end of the game, through penalty corner Indian goalie Sreejesh executed a full-stretch dive to his right to deny New Zealand the equaliser. Moments later, he pulled off another remarkable save in open play.
