India’s leading bank SBI also leads in Corona cases from banks in Patiala

Today once again 7 more employees of State bank of India, Pragati Bhawan, Phase 3, Urban Estate Patiala, tested covid positive. All seven officials, who tested Covid 19 positive, works in LCPC cell of the bank, which is the highest number of LCPC branch, till date.
Till date twenty (20) state bank of India employees of LCPC branch, alone tested positive. The first one official of LCPC cell tested covid positive is a resident of Ambala and comes daily from Ambala.
After the report of that officer, who tested Covid 19 positive, came, the bank authorities immediately asked the employees of State bank of India, Prgati Bhawan, urban estate phase 3, Patiala, where the LCPC branch is situated, to go for mandatory Covid 19 test.
Later employees gave test and than 6 employees tested covid Positive. This does not stopped here again 6 employees tested positive. After that one employee also tested covid positive. With today’s seven cases, total 20 employees, from a single branch-LCPC tested covid positive.
As per information, families of many bank employees also tested covid positive, after remaining in contact with them, increasing the number of covid positive patients.
Even civil surgeon Patiala Dr Harish Malhotra advised the bank employees to take all precautions. SBI is the only bank in Patiala, whose large number of employees tested covid positive, till date.
With this working of State bank of India, in north India, hampered as State Bank of India, Patiala, LCPC cell caters the North India-Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir etc., for opening all the new accounts.
Earlier few days back, 11 employees of State bank of India, Chowk Fort (Qila Chowk) branch at Patiala, tested covid 19 positive. Health authorities had closed the branch for public dealing. One employee of its RACPC cell (loan branch) , at its main office at sheranwala gate (earlier head office of state bank of Patiala) had also tested covid positive.
Since the inception of corona and opening of banks for public dealings, after the lifting of curfew, employees of SBI- YPS branch, Chowk fort branch, Bhupindra road branch, have already tested Covid 19 positive.
