International Classical Dancer Shruti Gupta honoured

18th All India Police Shooting Competition -2017 has been organized at Basic Training Centre of Indo-Tibetan Boarder Police Force (ITBP),Bhanu, Punchkula (Haryana).  Governor of Punjab V..P. Badnore inaugurated the program on 2nd December, 2017.  This competition concluded on 7th December, 2017.

In this competition 843 competitors are participating from different police forces of India.  ITBP is hosting this completion for the third time. First time hosted in 2006 and second time in 2008. The main motto of organizing this competition is to test the professional and technical caliber of central armed forces and different state level police forces.

On this occasion International fame artist performed classical dance of India on ‘Vande Mataram’, “National Song” of the Republic of India. Her recital has been appreciated a lot by the personnel of all police forces of India that came here to attend this program. She enthralled all the people by her mind blowing performance.

Rajesh Kumar, DIG-Basic Training Centre-ITBP, honored  International Classical Artist Shruti Gupta by giving certificate of appreciation and memento of ‘Shivalik Officer’s Mess’ on the behalf of BTC, ITBP Bhanu.

“Very renowned and talented artist Shruti Gupta has raised her voice against terrorism and also raised the spirit of Indian Armed Forces by doing this deed. She has set an excellent example of it before all with the help of her art. I am very much proud of her. She has stamped the supremacy of her art’, said DIG Rajesh Kumar (IPS).
