Chief Secretary Dr. Shrikant Baldi yesterday presided over preparatory meeting for celebration of two years of present Government. He said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah would be present as the Chief Guest on the ceremony for completion of two years the State Government to be held at The Ridge, Shimla. Working BJP National President J.P. Nadda will also be present on the occasion.

Chief Secretary said that a ground breaking ceremony of projects as a result of MoUs signed with Investors upto Global Investors’ Meet would be organised during the celebration. He said that a public rally would also be organised during the event.

Dr. Baldi said that Himachal Pradesh has reached culmination of Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna and would become the first state in the country to provide LPG connection to every household.

He said that about five thousand beneficiaries of state of various major schemes such as Grihini Suvidha Yojna, Swavalamban yojana, Sahara Yojna, Mukhyamantri Roshni Yojana, etc would be invited from nearby districts on the occasion. About 200 investors are expected for the ground breaking ceremony.

Chief Secretary said that strenuous efforts must be made by all line departments to make the event a success.  He directed department heads to prepare plan of action for their respective department and take necessary action for making event successful. He also directed to make adequate law and order arrangements. He directed the concerned departments to ensure that targets for investors ground breaking ceremony were achieved within stipulated time.

Administrative secretaries, Heads of various Departments and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
