Janhit Samiti Patiala Organised Mega Tree Plantation in collaboration with Horticulture Department at Children Park and other Parks in Baradari Gardens Patiala. Sanjeev Sharma, Mayor, Patiala was the Chief Guest. Manjit Singh Brar, SP, Punjab Police and  Manjeev Singh Kaleka, was the Guest of Honor.  Apart from this, Office Bearers of Janhit Samiti . S.K Gautam, President, Vinod Sharma, General Secretary, Aok Verma, . P.K Jain, . Rame Malhotra, . Chaman Lal Garg, . Raghu Nath Yadav, Prof. Aok Verma, Rupinder Kaur, including Dr. S.S Mann, Deputy Director , Kulvinder Singh Horticulture Deptt. . Jagtar Singh Jaggi and Chamkaur Singh, Forest Officer were also present.

On this occasion  Sanjeev Sharma, Mayor inaugurated Toilets constructed out of MP Fund of Rs 2 lacs given by Dr. Dharamveer Gandhi to Janhit Samiti . Although out of Rs 3.05 lacs cost incurred on toilets, remaining amount was contributed by Janhit Samiti. He appreciated the efforts being made by Janhit Samiti in various projects for the society. He told that beautification including development of Patiala City is on top priority of the Govt. under the Leadership of Capt. Amrinder Singh, Chief Minister of Punjab. He assured more help in coming days. Forest Deprtment provided the saplings of plants as a token of help to execrate tree plantation move as this is most important to save environment in mission Tandrust Punjab.

S.K Gautam, President while addressing told that Janhit Samiti is ruining various projects of health, education, and environment and to help the needy sections of the society. He also thanked the Guests for their encouraging response.

Vinod Sharma, General Secretary told that more than 1000 plants are to be planted in this move in Baradari Gardens and the important places. He also requested the administration to help in beatification of the children Park.
