As the code of conduct is just around three weeks away, Punjab government led by Charanjit Singh Channi is busy in accommodating congress MLAs, leaders of the state.
Today Punjab government appointed Gagandeep Singh Jalalpur son of Ghanaur MLA Madan Lal Jalalpur as the director administration Punjab state power corporation limited and Karanvir Singh Dhillon grandson of former congress MLA from Samrala Amrik Singh Dhillon as director administration Punjab state transmission limited. Amrik Singh Dhillon has contested elections from Samrala five times and won four times. Both appointments are for a period of two years.
Till today, former chief minister loyalist RP Pandove was the director administration, was removed from the post and made Gagandeep Singh Jalalpur son of Ghanaur MLA Madan Lal Jalalpur as the director administration Punjab state power corporation limited. Similarly Karanvir Singh Dhillon grandson of former congress MLA from Samrala Amrik Singh Dhillon replaces Sanjeev Kumar Sharma CA as director administration Punjab state transmission limited.
Madan Lal Jalalpur, once a close confidant was the first MLA from Patiala district to revolt against Capt Amarinder Singh and joined Navjot Singh Sidhu camp.

Rajendra Pratap Pandove , a close confidant of former chief minister Capt Amarainder Singh who is removed from the post, after the change of the guard in the state. Earlier PRTC chairman KK Sharma, another confidant of capt was also removed from the chairman .
Rajendra Pratap Pandove has joined the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) as director administration in April 2017. He remained associated with PSEB/PSPCL management for long time and had handled crucial administrative issues from time to time. He had retired as general manager administration from PSPCL and joined as director administration after Capt Amarinder Singh came into power in 2017.
