On March 19, 2022 ten MLAs are going to take oath of ministers in the Bhagwant Mann led Punjab cabinet. Out of these ten, four MLAs are from Majha, five from Malwa and one from Doaba.
Out of 25 seats in Majha—a region that Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot districts AAP had won elections in 16 assembly constituencies.
Out of 23 seats in Doaba-a region that Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Nawanshahar districts AAP had won elections in 10 assembly constituencies.
Out of 69 seats in Malwa-aregion that Ludhiana, Mohali, Ropar, Patiala, sangrur, Barnala, Mansa, Moga, Malerkotla, Muktsar, faridkot, Ferozepur, Fazilka districts AAP had won 66 seats.
Those who are taking oath of office and secrecy in the Bhagwant Mann led Punjab cabinet from Malwa are Harpal Singh Cheema (MLA Dirba), Dr Baljit Kaur (MLA Malout), Dr Vijay Singla (MLA Mansa) ,Gurmit Singh Hayer (MLA Barnala) , Harjot singh Bains (Anandpur Sahib MLA).
From Majha Harbhajan Singh ETO (Jandiala MLA), Lal Chand Kataruchak (MLA Bhoa), Kuldip Singh Dhaliwal (MLA Ajnala), Laljit Singh Bhullar (MLA Patti) are taking oath.
Brahm Shankar Jimpa (MLA Hoshiarpur) are going to be inducted in the Punjab cabinet from Doaba region

Ajnala MLA Kuldip Singh Dhaliwal is 60 years old, 10th and is in Agriculture profession
Anandpur sahib MLA Harjot Singh Bains is 31 years and is an advocate BA,L.LB (Hons.).
Bhoa MLA Lal Chand Kataruchak is 51 years, 10th pass and is a social worker
Barnala MLA Gurmit Singh Meet Hayer is 32 years and is a B.Tech.
Dirba MLA Harpal singh Cheema is a 47 years, a L.LB
Jandiala MLA Harbhajan singh ETO is 53 and is MA (Pol science) and is practicing advocate
Hoshiarpur MLA Brahm Shankar (Jimpa) is 56 years is 10+2 and is a businessman
Malout MLA Dr Baljit kaur a 46 years is a MS (Ophthalmology) and is a practicing doctor.
Mansa MLA Dr Vijay Singla is 52 years old and is a BDS practicing Dental surgeon
Patti MLA Laljit Singh Bhullar is 40 years is 10+2 is an agriculturist, Comm Agent.
Punjab has a reservation to make 18 cabinet ministers in 117 MLAs vidhan sabha. Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann has already taken the oath of office and secrecy making it to eleven.
After tomorrow’s ten MLA induction in the Punjab cabinet seven minister seats will remain vacant and is expected to be filled by next week.
