Mass casual leave in protest announced by Punjab Food supply department officers

Punjab food and civil supplies department officers have announced to go on mass casual leave, immediately, to lodge their protest against the lodging of FIR by Punjab vigilance bureau against department officials.
As per sources , Vigilance Bureau, Ludhiana has registered a FIR number 11 dated August 16,2022 against food and civil supplies department officers, which led the department officers to take this major step.
As per available information, all the officers from Inspector to Deputy Director/ DFSC’s will go on mass casual leave, till the vigilance bureau cancel the FIR and stop the inquiries initiated on fake complaints.
Harman Thind, president inspector’s association of Food and Civil Supplies has confirmed the same and said “we have informed the department’s secretary about our call.”
