MC Patiala initiative; inform birth and death through email; submit hard copy later

For the convenience of general public Patiala Municipal Corporation has started an online registration of birth and death information.
Due to the prevailing situation in the country and lockdown/ curfew, government has restricted the movement of the public. “To not to face any problem or to overcome the mental harassment, Municipal Corporation Patiala has given an email id [email protected] to the general public to send the birth and death details, during this lockdown period. A hard copy of the same can be submitted later” said Parveen Kumar Gupta, Local Registrar (Birth & death), Municipal Corporation Patiala.
“Any birth and death occurred in hospitals, nursing homes or at homes during this lockdown period, must be informed, through the above mentioned email id, so that nobody should face any problem in future, as both date of birth and date of death certificates are mandatory for everyone” said Parveen Kumar Gupta
He further informed that the information can be given in bilingual but must be complete in all aspects.
