MLA neighbor runs illegal sanitizer factory busted by excise,police department

Punjab excise department along with Patiala police today added another feather in its cap when they busted an illegal sanitizer factory at Rajpura, within few days of busting illegal distillery at Rajpura.
Today once again they busted an illegal sanitizer factory at Rajpura. As per the sources “ the excise department got a tip off that a person is making a spurious sanitizers in his factory. The department along with Punjab police, IRB,health department raided a factory at Rajpura focal Point. From their they got suspicious, as they didn’t found anything incriminating and raided his residence at SBS Nagar, Rajpura. When the team reached at his house, they recovered cans of 5 ltrs , 4000 bottles of sanitizers, one can of 35 ltrs of material used in making the illegal sanitizers . They also recovered empty bottles,caps, labels of Aristocrat and other brand sanitizers. The department has also recovered Methyl Alcohol .They recovered labels of Jagatjit Industry, Hamira.”
Further elaborating, the raiding party officials said ,” the person got panicked after the department busted illegal distillery at Rajpura bye pass, a few days ago. He shifted all the materials from his factory to his residence. “
Till the filling of this report, the search is still going on and the department is busy in searching, at his house.
The officials said, “Once the raid is over, the owner will be booked in relevant sections, like how he got the raw material for making sanitizer? From where he got the raw material? Which distillery is giving him the raw material? It’s all point of investigation.’
Excise commissioner Punjab Rajat Aggarwal said” the person doesn’t have L 42-B licence, which is mandatory”. The raid is conducted by Naresh Dubey, joint excise commissioner along with ETO Major Manmohan Singh, drug inspector, police officials and health officials.
As per the residents “the person is question is a neighbor of local MLA Hardial Singh Kamboj. The occupant of the house is an old person; his son comes to Chandigarh daily. He is in a business of making sanitizers. This old person runs a branded cable manufacturing unit at Rajpura focal point.”
