MoU between GNDU and World Cancer Care Society

Guru Nanak Dev University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Cancer Care (WCC) Society to provide multidisciplinary training and research to its students and faculty.
A meeting was held at University campus between Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu and Manjit Singh Nijjer, Vice President Alumni Council, Dr. Preet Mahinder Bedi, Alliance Co-ordinator, Dr. Simarpreet Virk Sandhu, Director, World Cancer Care UK & India and Dr. Jagpreet Singh Sandhu to discuss MoU between University and WCC. The objective of MoU will be to conduct research and awareness on Cancer problem in Punjab and International alliances/Collaborations committee along with Golden Jubilee celebrations to be held next year in February. In this meeting, Punjabi language promotion at International level and Golfing and Shooting sports at the campus were also discussed.
Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr). Jaspal Singh Sandhu said that University is pleased to collaborate with WCC for research on Cancer. He said that full support will be extended for this noble cause.
Commenting on the partnership with The BrewMaster, Dr. Gurbilas Singh Pannu Senior official said, โWe see this as an innovative regional collaboration and together, weโll make greater contributions to the development of the industry in the years ahead.โ
Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Coordinator University-Industry Linkage Programme of the University informed that both parties agreed to develop synergetic collaboration in a resource sharing and knowledge sharing environment in the field of research in Cancer.
