Guru Nanak Dev University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The BrewMaster to provide its students with an insight into the professional internship and job placement opportunities across the group’s properties in India.

Dr. Gurlal Singh, Managing Director said that, “We are grateful to Guru Nanak Dev University for their faith in expertise in hospitality training and management. We are proud to have an innovative multi-cuisine fine dine to offer the most original and true renditions of timeless cuisines from across the globe which have cheered the souls and spirits of food lover, especially youth. We believe in nurturing great talent and recognize that gaining experience in an organization not only provides students with insight into their chosen field but can also give them a competitive edge when applying for jobs. We are also pleased to offer permanent employment to the students after their graduation” Dr. Gurlal Singh informed that his group will provide stipends, certificates for internships and also provides scholarships to underprivileged students.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr). Jaspal Singh Sandhu said that University is pleased to collaborate with The BrewMaster an international brand in providing quality hotel management training for the students. As the Punjab hotel industry embarks on its productivity and capability enhancement initiatives, this collaboration will provide opportunities for everyone to learn from one of the most innovative university in the region.

Commenting on the partnership with The BrewMaster, Dr. Gurbilas Singh Pannu Senior official said, “We see this as an innovative regional collaboration and together, we’ll make greater contributions to the development of the industry in the years ahead.”

Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Coordinator University-Industry Linkage Programme of the University informed that both parties agreed to develop synergetic collaboration in a resource sharing and knowledge sharing environment in the field of Hotel Management. 

On the occasion, Prof. Kamaljit Singh, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. S.S. Behl, Dean Students Affairs, Prof. K.S. Kahlon, Registrar, Prof Mandeep Kaurand other senior officials from both sides were also present.
